Marc’s in D.C. today, paying respects to Roo Danny Gilstrap at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
Today is the last day of the AC Crimson & Gold Challenge for Athletics. Gilstrap was an AC track star in the early 1960s.
Danny Gilstrap was lost in the conflict in Vietnam. Every Friday night Gar Hole reception before Legends is in honor of Danny Gilstrap.
Marc’s not a fan of the Vietnam war. But Marc still believes in “honoring the soldier, not the cause.”
So Gilstrap’s sacrifice got him a Marc Roo Tale. And it also got him a special trip today to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
